You may have heard of someone mention cracking or opening a PSA or BGS slab (graded card). This is typically doneĀ when someone wants to resubmit a card. There are several different scenarios where this would typically be done. It could be to resubmit a card that has an obvious issue like a fingerprint or smudge that may have diminished the grade or to resub to a different grading company.
The process is fairly simple, but you will want to make sure that you use care, as there is some risk of damaging the card. In the videos below, we will walk you through the process to help you understand exactly how to do it.
